Full Job Description
· The role is responsible for leading and improving IT change performance, process and practices across Group Technology.
· In fulfilling this role, the role holder is accountable for the overall Technology Change Strengthen Plan, measuring improvements, mitigating risks and increasing change success rates.
Key Accountabilities
· Global Technology Change Lead, providing thought leadership, technology change data, internal and external trends and insights
· Direct and oversee the end-to-end Technology Change Strengthen plan
· Works in partnership with Change Standard Owners, CIO's, Operational Risk and Audit to ensure strategic improvements to change processes and practices are controlled, monitored and measured
· Work collaboratively across the Bank to ensure successful adoption of the IT Change Management Standards and Controls
· Maintain an effective IT Change control environment through end-to-end process mapping of the 'as is' and forward engineer the 'to be' state inc. Approval Process, stage gates, governance etc.
· Illustrate the full end to end Technology change process simply, whilst connecting all change strengthen related initiatives in to one simple view
· Responsible for identification and tracking of all IT change strengthen opportunities e.g., Issue categorisation, lessons learned, colleague training, repeated issues etc
· Establish effective governance e.g., Change Strengthen SteerCo and Working Group
· Responsible for producing and presenting read acrosses of thematic IT Change related risks, issues, themes and opportunities to senior management and stakeholders as applicable
· Actively manage the internal engagement model for IT Change with Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Controls Assurance and Regulatory engagement teams
· Proven IT Change SME - solid experience of delivering and leading change in large and complex environments
· Extensive knowledge of change management processes, practices, standards and controls
· Experience of acting within a regulated environment, dealing directly with regulators and satisfying regulatory requirements associated with technology change risk and control
· Hands on experience with modern technologies but also experienced in migrating from legacy technologies
· Proven ability to lead technical staff in technology, security, supplier, information and data management control strategy
· Experience of working across large global multi-national corporations, multi-cultural environments with different time zones
· Experience of leading audit and operational risk meetings, engagements & inspections

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
· Educated to a minimum degree level or equivalent
· Relevant qualification in Change, Technology, or related Risk Management qualification
· Ability to analyse, interpret and work robustly with others to identify issues and develop proposed solution
· Ability to understand/clearly articulate challenges facing the business and develop an appropriate solution
· High level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
