Telefriending Coordinator

We are seeking to recruit a motivated, skilled and highly organised coordinator to lead our Telefriending Service, and to and contribute to the support that LGBT Health offers to LGBT+ older people (50 years+) throughout Scotland. The main purpose of the role is to lead on the delivery of the Telefriending Service which offers regular phone-based support to LGBT elders throughout Scotland. The Coordinator is responsible for: carrying out initial assessment with new referrals and matching referrals recruit, train and supervise volunteers and sessional staff coordinate weekly staff and volunteer rotas lead a team of sessional staff and volunteers promote the service collect and collate reporting data ensure that the Telefriending project is delivered to a high standard, None specified
