The Macallan Host

An exciting opportunity have arisen within The Macallan Estate to join the team as The Macallan Host. This position ensures that all guests are given a world class luxury experience of The Macallan with exceptional customer service that exceeds all expectations of our guests, to inspire lifelong enthusiastic brand advocacy of The Macallan. The role as host supports highly engaging, entertaining and educational experiences that communicate The Macallan brand to all guests. Delivering a world class service, creating the ultimate customer experience; an experience to be enjoyed by anyone who visits The Macallan Estate. Working 5 days from 7, Monday to Sunday.,

• Welcome all guests with a passionate and exceptional customer service and inspire all guests to become enthusiastic ambassadors of The Macallan


• Passionately communicate The Macallan brand DNA and values to guests across the Macallan Estate and be the ultimate ambassador for The Macallan, whisky, Speyside and Scotland


• Ensure that The Macallan Estate is presented as a world class 5-star luxury destination, maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and organisation in both onstage and backstage areas with meticulous attention to detail


• Help guests with any accessibility needs across The Macallan Estate, which could include driving our mobility transport


• Develop thorough knowledge of The Macallan brand and world class customer service within a luxury destination through training and ongoing personal learning


• Host and support highly engaging, entertaining and educational experiences at The Macallan Distillery and across The Macallan Estate; including but not limited to Distillery, Estate, Boutique and Tasting Experiences


• Frequent use of booking and till systems on computers and other devices across The Macallan Estate


• Maximise every opportunity to exceed guest expectations


• To retain up to date stock knowledge with regards to pricing, product origination, product function and story


• Stock control & rotation will follow best practice and company guidelines
  
  To be successful in this role, ideally you have previous sales / retail experience and have an excellent understanding of exceptional customer service. You are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have high attention to detail. You are flexible with a can do approach to tasks and hold high standards of time keeping. You are enthusiastic about representing an ultra premium brand and enjoy learning about the brand heritage. You are positive and approachable who enjoys working with people. With excellent storytelling skills you enjoy performing a world class experience to guests from all over the world.
