The Traded Risk re-engineering SME will be working within Risk and Compliance Transformation in the Traded Risk workstream. The successful candidate will be part of a team that aims to develop a Traded Risk function with systems and capabilities to manage an evolving and complex traded and market risk environment. This role will play a pivotal part in reviewing current reporting processes and defining these in line with FRTB live requirements.,

  • Be responsible for analysing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and developing sustainable and quantifiable improvements.

  • This will include researching and benchmarking to best business practices, collating and analysing process data, providing support to the business/making recommendations, stakeholder management and delivering simplified processes that increase productivity and help define the business processes for Traded Risk as we transition to FRTB.

  • Design, implement and deliver business performance, improvement projects.

  • Manage the preparation of update reports, quality procedures, audits, status reports and project plans.

  • Manage initiatives to improve processing efficiencies which may involve managing re-engineering initiatives, workflow management and automation enhancement.

    A business analyst with extensive experience in Risk.

  • Experience in working in or with the CAO office.

  • Demonstrate thorough organisational skills and ability to prioritise certain activities in order to ensure work is efficient.

  • Previous stakeholder management experience particularly around process improvements/optimisation.
