  • Promptly report significant issues to the designated Partner
  • Offer proactive advice on tax liability mitigation
  • Conduct annual reviews of client affairs to identify opportunities for tax mitigation
  • Coordinate with HMRC on various tax-related matters
  • Responsively address client, HMRC, and other agent queries and correspondence
  • Maintain accurate internal records, adhering to departmental protocols

  • Perform Capital Gains Tax calculations
  • Maintain and update records for Capital Gains Tax and other relevant areas
  • Complete Tax Returns for individuals, trusts, and estates using information from internal and external sources

  • Lodge Tax Returns within stipulated deadlines
  • Negotiate accurate tax liabilities with HMRC within specified timeframes
  • Arrange timely payment of client tax obligations
  • Facilitate tax repayments for clients as necessary
  • Stay current with pertinent tax legislation and regulations
  • Fulfil administrative duties within the Tax department

What you’ll need

  • Prior experience in an administrative role with a keen interest in Tax

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • The ability to attain objectives within agreed timescales and budgets
  • Accuracy and a keen eye for detail
  • Solid organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy and demanding environment
