Main Responsibilities
Preparing military ranges and training areas for use
Grounds maintenance
Maintenance works on the range and training area
Equipment testing
Driving and operating vehicles
Use both IT and paper based systems to complete any relevant documentation
We are looking for someone who either has previous knowledge of working on the Defence Training Estate or someone who is keen to learn new skills and bring an enthusiastic willingness to learn, Landmarc will provide full training for the successful applicant., Knowledge of Health and Safety
Have a full driver's license valid in the United Kingdom (essential)
Experience in operating Plant and Machinery however not required, as training will be provided
IT skills
Ability to pass security checks and resided in the UK for the last 5 years
Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative at Tain AWR, Highland Scotland., Landmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE). This includes maintaining and delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure, managing and operating training areas and ranges and delivering multi-million pound projects to improve vital training assets., By joining Landmarc you will be supporting our vision to provide the best training experience we can for our Armed Forces. We are the first and only Special Purpose Vehicle to be contracted by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) as their Industry Partner on the UK Defence Training Estate and the only company that is solely dedicated to the UK DTE, delivering essential support services since 2003.
