Van Driver / Warehouse

· Checking your vehicle daily with the assistance of our vehicle check list to ensure vehicle is roadworthy and in full working order.

· Following the delivery route and format laid out by the transport supervisor.

· Dealing with customers face to face and in a professional and courteous manner.

· Driving one of our 3.5 tonne Clyde Cable branded vehicles and doing so in a safe and responsible manner, on average 10/15 deliveries per day.

· Good timekeeping and attendance record essential.

Warehouse Duties

· There will be occasional warehouse duties to be carried out as instructed by the warehouse manager, these will include general tidying of the internal depot or external yard as well as other general warehouse duties.

· Assisting warehouse operative to load your vehicle ensuring all goods are present against delivery notes.

• Good customer service and communication skills


• A knowledge of the area is beneficial but not essential


• Committed and determined individual who can work well within a hardworking team


• The ability to solve problems and use initiative


• Courteous and aware on the roads, Self-motivated, presentable, confident, and courteous individual who takes pride in their work. Full Clean Driving Licence
  
  This is a great opportunity; salary £26,526, Monday to Friday 7.30am - 17.00pm where overtime is required the rate is £17.49.
