Full Job Description
We are delighted to be supporting our client with the recruitment of a Vessel Cost Controller for this maternity cover role which is expected to be for 12 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monthly financial close and preparation of monthly Vessel Reports
o Necessary accruals
o Comparing actuals vs budget/forecast
o Analysing and commenting over-/under budget with input from the Vessel Team
o Following up, reconciling and documenting "operational balance accounts"
Preparation of Vessel budget and forecast together with Fleet Team
Raising customer invoices, reimbursable invoices and intercompany invoices as per contractual agreements.
Follow-up of overdue receivables towards clients and if needed internal escalation within the Fleet team
Responsibility for ensuring accounting transactions are posted, up to date and in accordance with Group standards
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
University Degree or similar with Bachelor/Master within Economics/Finance/Accounting or similar. Experience can compensate for the lack of formal education
