Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our production and manufacturing client in Grangemouth.

What's on offer?

  • Monday to Thursday, 9:30am to 5:30pm & Friday, 10am to 2pm
  • 13.48 per hour
  • Immediate start available

Your duties and responsibilities as a Warehouse Coordinator include:

  • Planning and carrying out administrative tasks within the warehouse, ensuring collaboration with the Customer Service Team, Commercial Team, and wider supply chain, achieving OTIF despatches of stales and samples requests
  • Coordinating transporting contractors onsite for inbound and outbound activity
  • Processing of Bonded goods movements and exporting entries on customers related website
  • Developing knowledge of export, customers, and market legislation to facilitate effective processing of goods to required markets
  • Updating department trace ability forms and files daily, and e-archiving despatched sales orders documentation
  • Perform quality checks at various stages of the process

To be successful in this warehouse position you will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse or other fast-paced environment. Combined with

  • Experience or an equivalent degree in supply chain/logistics environment, preferably in FMCG industry
  • Experience working in a similar warehouse administration/coordination role, preferably within the spirits industry
  • Experience using HMRC systems and knowledge of the Export/Import documentation requirements
  • Experience of working with business management systems
  • Understanding of UK warehousing/logistics and transport best-practice processes, systems, and ways of working along with the Health and Safety legislation
  • Excellent communication skills with first-rate attention to detail
  • Strong customer care skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • A valid FLT license is desirable but not essential
