We are now recruiting for an experienced Warranty Manager to join our Service Department.

 

You will prepare, qualify and submit customer warranty and repair files efficiently.

 

Hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and the salary is from £35k DOE.

The main duties of the role are:

  • Prepare and maintain customer warranty and repair files, ensuring these are fit for audit purposes by both internal and external auditors.
  • Code and cost warranty and repair invoices and submit accordingly.
  • Build relationships with all staff members, repairers, and manufacturer reps.
  • Update warranty and cash account on a weekly basis, notifying Service Manager and accounts department of reasons for any over or under payments.
  • Deal with any rejected claims adhering to any manufacturer’s time restraints.
  • Submit prior approvals or goodwill requests to the manufacturer.
  • Input & monitor return of warranty parts in line with manufacturers requirements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department.

 

To be effective in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent administration knowledge, gained through experience within an automotive warranty department.
  • Previous Ford/Peugeot Manufacturer experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team whilst using own initiative

 

Previous technical experience, e.g qualified vehicle technician is desirable.
