Full Job Description

Ongoing requirement to support site compliance and delivery
The main duties and responsibilities of the Work Control Engineer would be to:
+ Demonstrate safe, effective and ethical working behaviours.
+ Adhere to management system requirements for engineering activities.
+ Deliver engineering tasks to schedule, budget and quality requirements.
+ Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
+ Identify and escalate business risk arising from condition of engineered systems and structures.
+ Demonstrate adherence to management system requirements and relevant technical standards.
+ Engage with company delivery and administrative requirements; report own and team progress honestly and clearly, communicate in an engaging manner, support performance management.
+ Optimise the delivery of Operations Engineering.
+ Interface with other government departments
+ Work with team leaders
+ Provision of specified services to internal and external customers, to agreed standards.
+ Maintain awareness of developments in own trade and apply to own workplace where appropriate.
+ Provision of timely reporting for key stakeholders.
+ Comparison and analysis of trends within the Project and identification of risk and opportunities
+ Review, acceptance and integration of cost estimates and forecasts provided by Contractors and suppliers.
+ Adherence to governance and Cost standards and procedures
+ Ensure all Project documents, Sensitive Nuclear Information, is correctly marked, and protected in accordance with policies and procedures

+ Demonstrable Planning experience
+ Excellent stakeholder management skills
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Experience in a Co-ordinating role
+ The ability to liaise with workshops
+ Experience working with multiple departments
+ The ability to be flexible in your work
+ Understanding of Maximo (Desirable)
+ Knowledge & experience of Primavera P6 (Desirable), Disability confident
