Full Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and committed Youth Coordinator to lead our Young Achievers Club. This role involves designing, coordinating, and implementing a variety of activities and programs tailored to the needs and interests of our young members. You will collaborate with volunteers, community partners, and families to ensure a positive and enriching experience for all. Additionally, you will handle ad hoc administrative tasks for the charity as necessary., Design and deliver engaging programs promoting cultural understanding, social inclusion, and personal development.

- Create a safe and supportive environment for exploration of identities and confidence-building.

- Coordinate volunteers and partners to deliver quality programs.

- Engage with parents and community members to support club objectives and community integration.

- Monitor and report on program activities and participant development.

- Perform administrative tasks to support the charity's broader operations.

Experience in youth work, particularly with minority ethnic or New Scot backgrounds.

- Understanding of the challenges faced by young people from diverse backgrounds.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Passion for youth empowerment and community development.

Funding: This role is funded by the Young Start Funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, with an annual budget of £11,468.

About Touch of Love Young Achievers Club: The Touch of Love Young Achievers Club is a vibrant initiative aimed at empowering minority ethnic youth and New Scots aged 8-16. Through a mix of educational, social, and recreational activities, we aim to bridge cultures, foster understanding, and celebrate the rich tapestry of global and Scottish heritage. We run two weekly clubs for different age groups, offering a supportive environment for personal growth, cultural integration, and fun.
