Reed Finance is working with a key client based in the East Dunbartonshire area to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on an 18 month fixed term contract basis. The position works closely with key stakeholders and business units spread across Europe, providing first class business partnering support.

This role will assist the Head of Finance to maintain data integrity throughout the organisations financial systems. Responsible for reviewing and improvements on daily reconciliations between the system and the general ledger. You will also be involved in reviewing and signing off on monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts.

The role will play a key part in troubleshooting issues between systems, reviewing and proposing process changes and ensuring the validity of accounting data within the P&L and associated balance sheet accounts. You will be involved in various ad hoc projects as and when they occur.

We are searching for an accountant with strong communication skills in order to provide the business partnering support to the business units. Ideally you will have an understanding of ERP systems.
