This trainee role is designed to underpin all aspects of Centre life and ministry, working across the full range of teams at Alltnacriche, but with a specific focus on House and Catering. It will provide you with a solid foundation of what it means to live and work at a residential Centre. You will also have the opportunity to participate in wider SU events and ministry.,

Helping in the Catering team to prepare food and serve it to our guests

Working in the House to clean bedrooms or bathrooms, and do Health and Safety checks

Supporting Maintenance tasks such as painting or cutting firewood

Looking after guests during school residentials, including some evening work

Getting involved in all aspects of centre life

Taking part in SU Scotland team meetings and Centre prayer meetings and Bible studies

We are seeking applicants who have a desire to use their faith in practical service in order to support our ministry of working with children and young people. The successful applicant must be self-motivated and keen to learn and contribute to all aspects of centre life.

Salary: £10,200 per year plus accommodation, generous pension scheme, holiday allowance and other benefits
