  • Helping individuals understand benefit rules and processes in simple, straightforward language.
  • Supporting customers during key decisions, assessments, and appeals.
  • Representing customer viewpoints impartially while upholding dignity and respect.
  • Adapting communication styles to suit different needs and ensuring every interaction is recorded in accordance with service standards and data protection policies.
  • Completing forms, taking minutes, producing reports, and maintaining case notes to ensure thorough follow-ups.

  • A full UK driving license and access to a car, as travel across allocated areas will be required.

While a qualification in independent advocacy is beneficial, it’s not mandatory. Full training and ongoing professional development will be provided, reflecting the organisation’s dedication to nurturing talent and developing specialist skills.
