Accommodation Services are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills to join our busy front of house team.  The post holder should have experience in the delivery of excellent customer service within an HE setting.  The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, coupled with a high level of administrative and IT skills.  Experience of working with students in a front-line role and knowledge of student housing would be advantageous. This post includes weekend working on rotation 5/7.

Accommodation Services provides over 1500 bed spaces, across 9 Halls of Residence in the heart of the University Campus in Glasgow.  Our customers are diverse and include: those attending a course in preparation for university study; those joining Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses from Scotland, other parts of the UK and many other parts of the world. For some, this is the first time away from home and others may have particular requirements and needs. We pride ourselves on the support we give our students in residence to ensure they have a successful time at University. Whilst our accommodation is mostly let to students; over the summer months, it is let commercially to visitors and groups. The department is self-financing, with the net surplus being reinvested into a programme of refurbishment and modernisation. There is a team of around 70 staff including cleaning, housing, administration, maintenance and management.

Formal interviews for this post will be held, week commencing 20 May 2024.
