Full Job Description

The University of Strathclyde seeks to appoint an experienced and dynamic Active Lifestyle Officer to work within Strathclyde Sport.


This role is a 0.4FTE or 14 hours a week.  We are looking for an enthusiastic person, who naturally has excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and are prepared to work hard, to drive Active Health within Strathclyde Sport. In addition to bringing your particular skills to the job, you should possess a passion for exceptional customer service delivery.


You will be responsible for leading, developing and delivering a high-quality active health focused programme within Strathclyde Sport.


The successful candidate will have a passion for active lifestyles well-being and have significant and relevant experience in the field. You will have a sustained and demonstrable track record of generating and delivering physical activity initiatives that have contributed to improving customer health & wellbeing and participation levels. You must be a self-starter, who is proactive, well organised and able to ‘hit the ground running’.
