Salary: £25,742 - £28,759

FTE: 1 (35 hours/week)

Term: Fixed Term (Until 31 Mar 2026)

MarRI-UK seeks to recruit an Administrator as part of an enthusiastic hub team. You will deliver a wide range of support to the team. The main duties of the post will include meeting organisation, minutes taking, financial administration, update website and social media, and promotional activity support such as the organisation of MarRI-UK events. This will be undertaken by working closely with the MarRI-UK hub team, members and other stakeholders. Travel may be expected as MarRI-UK has a national remit.

Whilst funding for this position is guaranteed until Mar 2026, there is opportunity to extend the contract if MarRI-UK grow with sustained income.

To be considered for the role, you will be educated to a minimum of HNC level in a relevant subject and you will have experience of working as an administrator in a similar environment. You will have experience of general and financial administration, writing reports and minute taking and you will have experience of dealing with both internal and external stakeholders at senior levels. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and you will have excellent IT skills. You will have an ability to manage and prioritise your busy workload and conduct the role with a high level of personal responsibility and initiative.

The post-holder will carry out a wide range of administrative duties in support of delivering the MarRI-UK business plan, and contribute to the success of the organisation as a whole by co-operating, sharing, supporting and assisting other members of the team. This include meeting organisation, minutes taking, financial administration, update website and social media, and promotional activity support. This will be undertaken by working closely with the MarRI-UK hub team, members and other stakeholders. The administrator will report to MarRI-UK Programme Manager and will provide administrative support to the director, the manager and other hub team members.
