Full Job Description
The University of Strathclyde wishes to appoint a Strategic Research Funding Team Administrator in the Research and Knowledge Exchange Services (RKES) Directorate. The RKES Strategic Research Funding Team works with the academic community of the University, and with external clients and funders, to assist with the development of new, funded research and knowledge exchange projects.
You will play a vital role in supporting staff of the Strategic Research Funding Team (UK and International), and academic staff and their external contacts, in relation to the development and management of the research funding application activity of the University. You will provide administrative support, including tracking of internal budgets for research development activity, the development and maintenance of the RKES intranet for research funding activity, the update of strategic funding opportunities to the University research management system (Worktribe), maintaining databases, spreadsheets and recording systems. You will arrange internal and external meetings and training events. You will prepare and deliver agendas and notes.
Educated to HNC level or equivalent, previous experience of working in an administrative support role is essential.
