No previous care experience? That's okay. We provide full training and ongoing support, so we're looking for the right values and attitude above all else.

A Role That Truly Matters

This is more than a nightshift role. You'll be helping a young person with complex needs to live the life they choose, providing reassurance, support and companionship while ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the night.

Working as part of a close-knit, supportive team, you'll build meaningful relationships and play a vital role in helping someone remain independent in their own home and community.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting personal care, mobility and medication needs
• Promoting independence, choice and dignity
• Following personalised support plans
• Monitoring wellbeing and providing reassurance throughout the night
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Working closely with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality support
• Building positive relationships based on trust, respect and understanding
• Supporting a safe and comfortable home environment

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Is caring, patient and compassionate
• Enjoys building positive relationships with others
• Has a good sense of humour and enjoys being part of a team
• Remains calm and confident in different situations
• Is committed to delivering high-quality person-centred support
• Is willing to undertake training and become registered with the SSSC

Experience in care is welcomed but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Knowledge or experience of epilepsy or Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome would be advantageous but is not required.
