Part Time Office Manager

Salary FTE £27,500 pa pro-rata plus pension and potential bonus

We are a small electronics company based in Hamilton International Technology Park in Blantyre seeking a part-time Office Manager. Established for nearly 30 years, with 10 employees, we are looking for a team player with good communication skills who can work flexibly and be able to prioritise and organise their workload with minimal supervision.

Attributes / Experience required:

A positive attitude with good written and verbal communication skills
Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll
Experience using Microsoft Office / Libre Office programs
Ability to prioritise and work with minimum supervision
Electronics / Manufacturing background would be advantageous

Responsibilities include:

Sales Order Processing, Contract Reviews and Order Confirmation
Raising Customer Invoices, recording them on SAGE and credit control
Updating of company databases
Stock management
Purchasing, dealing with suppliers, recording invoices on SAGE
Paperwork for export shipping, using FedEx, DHL, UPS etc.
Keeping HR records up to date and recording holiday, absence etc.
Reconciling bank accounts with various currencies
Processing quarterly VAT returns and monthly payroll and pension contributions
Managing petty cash and processing expense claims
Producing monthly reports for management
Running end of year accounts ready for accountant
Ad hoc office and administration duties
