    If you love working with children then you might be interested in children's worker jobs. Children's workers often work closely with social services in schools and communities. Qualifications in childcare, social work, social care, youth work, education and counselling will all help you to find these types of roles.
    In order to improve your chances of getting work in this field, experience is vital. Employers may take on candidates with level 2 qualifications if they have the right background behind them. This could include paid or voluntary work with children or young people in nurseries, community centres, children's homes or even working on youth projects.
    Starting salaries for children's workers tend to be set at around 18,000 (GBP) per annum, but there is plenty of scope to progress. This job can also act as a good starting point for future social workers.
