School of Computing Paisley Campus (with travel to other locations ) F ixed-Term 12 months (Maternity Cover)                                                    As the University continues to invest in the enhancement of the student experience, the School of Computing would like to invite applications for the post of Student Enhancement Developer (maternity cover). The post holder will take forward the development of key interventions to support progression, retention and employability by identifying and managing these activities from pre-enrolment through to graduation.  The successful candidate will work with the school’s leadership to develop enhancement activity and then work with colleagues across the School and wider institution to implement activity. You should be educated to degree level in a subject related to Computing and have substantial experience working in the higher education environment. It would be advantageous to have a PGCert in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education or equivalent. This will be a demanding role which will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.  You will be flexible with a proactive and professional approach, with an ability to interpret complex information and to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Excellent IT skills are also essential to the role.
